Wellness Wednesday Post:

Hi friends. It has been a while since I made a blog post, life has been a bit overwhelming lately. I am sure you can relate. I am committed to doing better, starting now.

Since part of what we do at The LOL Studio is learn how to live well and share good things with one another, I decided to change Walk-about Wednesday to Spotlight Saturday and have Wellness Wednesday instead.

We have a lot of conversations at the studio with many of you about what you, and we ourselves, are doing to improve our health. You know that I love to share good things, so I want to use Wednesdays as a way for all of us to chime in and share what we are struggling with, what is helping and what is not. We all bring value to the table, so let us encourage and support one another on our journeys to wellness.

Here is a little something that I am trying. I remember writing down this recipe and reviewing the potential benefits but never got around to making it. Well, I finally just did, and it tasted so good! I also love that it is quick and easy!

*A quick online search reveals multiple sources that state the above benefits of these ingredients but please do your own research. Anything I post here is in no way intended to replace medical advice. I simply like to share information I find helpful and encourage others to do the same, but we must all be good stewards of our bodies and verify information for ourselves.

*Ceylon is known as “true cinnamon.” From Sri Lanka is purest (from what I understand). Unlike cassia cinnamon, it contains lower levels of coumarin, a compound that can cause liver damage in large amounts.
